About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Leasing Consultant to join our team in Steelhaven, Birmingham, AL. As a Leasing Consultant, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to prospective and current residents, conducting property tours, and assisting with the leasing process. Your main goal will be to ensure that all leasing operations run smoothly and efficiently, while maintaining a high level of resident satisfaction.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1+ years of experience in leasing, sales, or customer service
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work weekends and some holidays
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

Preferred Qualifications:

• Associate or Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field
• Experience with Real Page or other property management software
• Bilingual in English and Spanish

Responsibilities:

• Greet and welcome prospective residents, provide property tours, and answer any questions they may have
• Assist with the leasing process, including completing lease agreements and collecting security deposits
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date knowledge of the property and its amenities, as well as the surrounding area
• Respond to resident inquiries and concerns in a timely and professional manner
• Assist with resident retention efforts, including planning and executing resident events

Skills:

As a Leasing Consultant, you will utilize your exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to provide outstanding customer service to our residents and prospective residents. You will also use your attention to detail and organizational skills to ensure that all leasing operations run smoothly and efficiently. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite will be necessary to complete lease agreements and other necessary paperwork. Additionally, knowledge of property management software such as Yardi will be beneficial. Finally, bilingual skills in English and Spanish will be an asset in communicating with a diverse resident population.
