Job Summary
The Activity Assistant collaborates/assists in the coordination to deliver a comprehensive activity program to match the needs of patients/residents/tenants of Avera Prince of Peace.
Education and/or Experience
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
- LTC or health care experience preferred.
- Musical background preferred.
Required Certification, Licensure, and/or Registrations
- Certified Nurse Assistant or Licensed Practical Nurse in the State of South Dakota required. If not C.N.A. certified, must obtain certification within 12 months of hire.
- This position requires a valid driver’s license and that the employee is insurable by the Avera Health automobile liability insurance carrier.
Work Schedule
- Monday-Friday, 9:00am-5:30pm; every 4th weekend and holiday; 48 hours 2 weeks
Pay
The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.
- $17.00 - $20.50 per hour
