Job Summary

• The Care Assistant is accountable for providing our residents with quality care in a household environment, with resident directed care. This is done in accordance with our policies, procedures, and the state and federal guidelines.
• Provides exceptional care and service to patients, residents, guests and fellow employees at all times.
• Performs all duties and responsibilities in such a way as to demonstrate and support the hospital's Catholic heritage and Avera co-sponsorship values of hospitality, compassion and stewardship.
• Provides care/service in accordance with regulatory and accrediting agencies standards and Catholic Ethical and Religious Directives.

License/Certification/Registration

• Certification for Nursing Assistant with the South Dakota Board of Nursing within 120 days of hire.
• Must be 16 years of age.

Work Schedule

• Day/Evening Shifts, 2:00pm-10:00pm, every other weekend, every other holiday; 15 hours every 2 weeks

Pay

The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.

• $17.50 - $23.00 per hour
