Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable infrastructure solutions to support high-throughput applications, ensuring optimal performance and reliability
- Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines to automate the deployment process, reducing manual intervention and accelerating release cycles
- Optimize system performance through vertical and horizontal scaling strategies, effectively handling increased load and ensuring system stability
- Implement and manage container orchestration platforms, facilitating efficient deployment and management of microservices architectures
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration, enhancing consistency and reducing the potential for human error
- Monitor system health and performance, setting up alerting mechanisms to proactively address issues and maintain uptime
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate infrastructure solutions seamlessly into the overall technology stack
Required Skillsets
- Proficiency in containerization and orchestration tools, such as Kubernetes and Docker, for deploying and managing applications at scale
- Experience with CI/CD tools like Argo CD, Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or GitHub Actions, enabling automated testing and deployment workflows
- Strong scripting skills in languages like Bash or Python, facilitating automation of routine tasks and system configurations
- Familiarity with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools, such as Terraform, Pulumi, or CloudFormation, for managing and provisioning infrastructure resources
- Knowledge of monitoring and observability tools, including Prometheus, Chronosphere, Grafana, or Datadog, to track system performance and detect anomalies
- Understanding of networking concepts and load balancing techniques, ensuring efficient traffic distribution and system resilience
- Experience with cloud platforms, particularly AWS, leveraging services like ECS, S3, and Lambda to build scalable and cost-effective solutions
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with the ability to troubleshoot complex system issues and implement effective solutions
