X-ray Technologist - Jersey City, NJ at RWJBarnabas Health – Jersey City, New Jersey

Job Overview:

MG Orthopedics is seeking an X-Ray Tech for our division based in Jersey City, but will have coverage for other locations in Livingston and Millburn as needed.

Qualifications:

Required:

• Graduated from an accredited radiology program

Preferred:

• 1 year of relevant work experience
• Additional knowledge of leg length series is a plus
• EPIC knowledge is a plus
• Working with Carestream XR machine and Horizon Health Care PACS is a plus
• Experience with non-weightbearing patients/stretcher patients is a plus

Certifications and Licenses Required:

• Must be registered through The American Registry of Radiologic Technologists® (ARRT) in radiography
• Must hold a NJ state license as a Diagnostic Radiologic technologist

Scheduling Requirements:

• 7:45am - 4:30pm
• Full Time

Essential Functions:

• X-ray tech needed for multispecialty orthopedic practice, 8-12 providers, 5-6 physician assistants

• >40 x-rays per day, multiple views for Sports Medicine, Trauma and Joint Replacement, Upper Ext, Lower Ext, and Spine
