We are seeking a skilled and experienced Auto Dealership Service Technician to join our team. As a Service Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining customer vehicles to ensure their safe and reliable operation. You will work in a fast-paced environment, collaborating with other technicians and service advisors to provide exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities:

- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on customer vehicles, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections

- Diagnose and repair complex mechanical and electrical issues using diagnostic tools and equipment

- Communicate with service advisors and customers to explain repairs needed and provide accurate estimates of repair costs

- Keep accurate records of all repairs and maintenance performed on customer vehicles

- Maintain a clean and organized work area and follow all safety procedures and guidelines

Requirements:

- High school diploma or equivalent

- Completion of a technical training program in automotive repair or equivalent work experience

- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously

- Excellent communication and customer service skills

- Valid driver's license and clean driving record

The Technician will stand six to eight hours per shift on concrete flooring, lift parts weighing up to 70 pounds or more several times during shift, will be in a bent position for long periods of time, use upper body, back and arm strength, will use hoist and test equipment as needed. He/She will stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, reach, bend, twist, handle and feel, will use hand and power tools. Employee will be exposed to noise, vibration, dust, exhaust fumes and other hazardous and non-hazardous material. Road testing vehicles will be required. The technician will be required to wear a dealership uniform at all times.
