Position Summary:
The Cell Lead plays a crucial role in supporting the Production Supervisor by ensuring smooth day-to-day operations on the production floor. This hands-on leader will serve as the go-to person for a specific manufacturing cell, helping to drive performance, uphold quality standards, and cultivate a positive, high-energy team culture. The Cell Lead thrives in fast-paced environments and acts as a bridge between operators and leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the Production Supervisor in achieving daily production goals by coordinating and motivating team members within the assigned cell.

• Foster a team-oriented culture that supports collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.

• Maintain open, clear communication between shifts, team members, and supervisors.

• Monitor workflows and escalate issues related to safety, quality, or production delays.

• Ensure standard work and processes are being followed and contribute to process improvements when necessary.

• Train, mentor, and support cell operators, especially new or transitioning team members.

• Track and report key cell metrics (output, quality, attendance, etc.) as directed by the supervisor.

• Uphold safety standards and contribute to a clean and organized work environment.

• Be a champion of Lean practices and participate in improvement events (Kaizen, 5S, etc.).

What We're Looking For:

• 3+ years experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably automotive or remanufacturing

• Previous team lead or leadership experience strongly preferred

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills—able to motivate and clearly direct others

• Driven, reliable, and thrives under pressure in fast-paced environments

• Strong sense of ownership and accountability

• Comfortable learning and using production software and systems

• Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus
