CPLC De Colores provides a safe, secure place for families to heal from the traumatizing effects of domestic violence, sexual violence, and human trafficking. Shelter and community-based services meet survivors where they are to help them discover their strengths and regain their freedom.
The Community-Based program serves those who are not ready to move into shelter or who are transitioning out of a shelter program with crisis intervention, safety planning, legal and housing support, support groups, art classes to promote healing, youth programs, financial empowerment programming, and transitional and rapid rehousing programs.
IN-PERSON - This role is performed on-site, in-person.
POSITION SUMMARY
The Site Office Assistant assists in maintaining the consumer files and statistics. As the receptionist, they welcome visitors, providing them with information and directions as needed. They respond to requests for medical records and perform a variety of other clerical duties:
- Maintain open and/or closed consumer files
- Schedule members' appointments, ensure service tickets are in order, collect and validate insurance information
- Retrieve files for scheduled appointment
- Record no-show and appointment changes
- File all consumer data upon receipt
- Collect, monitor, and enter data/information into computer systems
- Prepare consumer files for internal and external audits
- Coordinate with staff and clinical staff to ensure proper documentation of consumer files
- Submit monthly reports
- Maintain logs for outgoing and incoming fax; PCP, notice of action, intake/discharge
- Prepare and process SMI Packets
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND COMPETENCIES
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Some experience from which knowledge and skills can be utilized to perform general clerical work.
- Able to obtain fingerprint clearance card.
- Demonstrated phone etiquette, and be customer service-driven, and able to multi-task.
- Written and verbal communication skills.
- Abel to work with minimum supervision
- Knowledge of MS Office
- Bilingual Spanish/English
