Accounting Specialist Job Description

La Cross Dental is looking for an Accounting Specialist to join our team. La Cross is a growing dental organization that supports multiple dental offices in a fast-paced environment. The leading role of the Accounting Specialist is to work with other team members to achieve goals set by the Director of Finance.

Primary Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Pulling daily reports to analyze production and collections in offices
• Investigate and correct system generated reports identifying out of balance payroll and payroll tax records
• Maintain high knowledge on all the company's payroll policies and regulations impacting payroll preparationz
• Respond to and resolve all payroll inquiries and make resultant changes
• Audits of PTO policies, 401K Contributions, FSA/ HSA contributions
• Utilizes QuickBooks for Journal Entries and accounts payable
• Reconciliation of Accounts and aids in the monthly close out

• Knowledge of payroll, garnishments and benefits distribution
• Multitasking abilities
• Microsoft Excel and Word Proficiency
• Exceptional follow through with all commitments

Ideal Candidate will excel in the above skills and include:

• An accounting/finance degree or 3 years of experience
• QuickBook Online experience
• Experience processing payroll for multi-companies
• ADP knowledge
