JOB SUMMARY
Hospitalists General Medicine/Observation Unit is very fast paced environment seeing a wide range of patients such as chest pain with possible interventional needs, outpatient surgical procedures requiring minimal post-operative monitoring, respiratory illnesses with low oxygen demand needs to general medicine patients. The medical management of our Observation Patients is that all tests and procedures are completed within 24 hours which is what creates such a fast-paced environment. The most enjoyable part of the job of caring for Observation Patients is that most patients are ambulatory and independent or with minimum assistance.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS
Education/Training/Experience:
REQUIRED:

• Graduate of an RN School of Nursing
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent computer skills

PREFERRED:

• BSN

License/Certifications/Special Requirements:

• Possesses current State RN license.

PAY STATUS

• Non-exempt hourly
