RESPIRATORY CARE STUDENT

Job Summary
Provides routine treatment and care of patients with respiratory insufficiencies under the supervision of a Respiratory Therapist. Job Responsibilities

• Delivers routine therapy per plan of care.
• Monitors, records, and communicates patient condition as appropriate.
• Educates the patient and family about the illness and provides information about community support groups and other available programs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, General Equivalency Diploma (GED) or higher required upon hire
• No experience required
• Respiratory - Student license through the Kentucky Board of Respiratory Care (KBRC) required within 30 days of employment in this position AND
• BLS - Certified as a Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider required within 90 days of employment in this position
