In an automated office environment, the patient accounting representative provides accurate, timely, and courteous customer service to internal and external customers. Utilizing mainframe and pc-based software, analyzes, posts, and reports reimbursements and contractual allowances. Provides guidelines and assistance with governmental payor rules and regulations to ensure compliance and an efficient billing and collection process. A high school degree or equivalent is required, as well as two years of previous office experience.
