Housekeeper/Cook in Fullerton, California at Bayview Property Management

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Housekeeper/Cook to maintain a clean home and prepare meals throughout the workday. This is a full-time position that requires the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Maintain a clean and organized home through daily housekeeping and cleaning tasks, ensuring a comfortable living space for the household.

• Prepare and cook 3 meals throughout the workday from provided recipes, adhering to dietary restrictions and preferences.

• Run errands, occasionally, using the provided vehicle to ensure timely and efficient completion of tasks.

• Organize the house and maintain a tidy living space, ensuring everything is in its designated place and easily accessible.

• Care for plants and ensure their health and well-being, including watering, pruning, and fertilizing as needed.

• Collaborate with the household to ensure smooth daily operations, communicating effectively and providing updates on tasks and progress.

• Develop and implement effective cleaning and organizational systems, streamlining processes and improving efficiency.

• Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive household information with discretion, ensuring the trust and security of the household.

• Adhere to all household policies and procedures, upholding the highest standards of professionalism and integrity.

• Perform other duties as assigned by the household, ensuring flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.

• Collaborate with the household to identify areas for improvement and implement changes to maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and organization.

• Maintain open and effective communication with the household, providing regular updates and reporting on the status of cleaning and organizational tasks.

• Take initiative to anticipate and meet the needs of the household, exercising creativity and problem-solving skills to ensure the smooth operation of the household.

• Demonstrate a strong commitment to maintaining the household's high standards, upholding the values and expectations of the household.

• High School or equivalent degree

• 1 year of experience in housekeeping, cooking, or restaurant work

• Ability to speak, read, and write in English

• Valid Driver's License

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to follow recipes and prepare healthy meals

• Basic knowledge of cleaning and organizational systems

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Basic knowledge of plant care and maintenance

• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information

• Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week, Tuesday-Saturday

• Medical: 75% coverage for the employee, dependent and spouse coverage available at 100% cost to the employee

• Sick Leave: 6 days per year

• Holidays: 6 scheduled holidays and 1 floating holiday

• Vacation: 5 days after the first year, 1 additional day per year

• Unpaid time off: 5 unpaid days after the probationary period
