Job Purpose
We are looking for a goal-driven sales professional to aggressively develop and grow our customer base in (city name). This role is ideal for a hunter-type salesperson who thrives on building relationships, winning business, and owning a territory.
Key Sales Responsibilities
- Drive revenue growth by actively managing and expanding an assigned sales territoryIdentify, pursue, and close new sales and rental opportunitiesDevelop strong relationships with key decision-makers to increase market shareCreate and deliver competitive quotes that convert prospects into long-term customersMaintain a consistent call schedule and pipeline strategy to exceed sales targetsUtilize CRM to track opportunities, manage follow-ups, and forecast accuratelyCollaborate with product support, service, and operations to ensure customer satisfactionSupport contract creation, order processing, inventory needs, and A/R follow-upTravel for customer visits, ride-alongs, and manufacturer trainings as needed
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalentPreferred: 3+ years of sales experience in the heavy equipment industry Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office and CRM toolsProven ability to build relationships and close business
- Active field-based sales role, requiring movement, climbing, and occasional liftingExposure to equipment, jobsite conditions, and noise—PPE requiredValid driver’s license required
