Job Summary:

We are seeking motivated CDL Route Delivery Drivers to join our dynamic team. This position is perfect for energetic drivers eager to make an impact. Route delivery driver's schedule will vary depending on routes. The routes depart on Sunday, Monday, Wednesday and Thursday and all drivers are expected to go out on two (2) routes a week, typically a total of 5 days. Route drivers usually do one (1) long route and one (1) short route.

Duties:

Safely operate tractor-trailers and refrigerated trailers. Route delivery drivers unload products into our Jason's Deli stores using equipment such as a ramp and dolly. Adhering to all safety regulations and traffic laws. Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure safety and compliance. Ensure timely delivery of goods while providing excellent customer service at each stop. Handle special products such as refrigerated items requiring specific handling procedures. Must be able to team drive with a co-driver.

Experience:

• The driver must be over 21 years of age and have one year of CDL driving experience preferred.
• The driver must be able to work a flexible schedule and as a floater when needed.
• Experience with route driving in various environments, including urban, rural, or highway settings; knowledge of safety protocols related to food distribution handling and light vehicle maintenance.
• Have the ability to unload products efficiently and safely using appropriate equipment.
• Prior experience with refrigerated trailers is a plus.
• Must have a valid CDL license with a clean MVR within the past three years and pass a criminal background check. (We are background-friendly and handle each case on a case-by-case basis.)
• Must have experience with Motive ELD and understand the HOS set by FMCSA/DOT regulations.

Benefits:

Competitive Pay - $85K to $110K - Route Delivery Drivers are paid per mile and stop fee ($0.53 per mile, and $30. per stop, with annual increase after 18 months, the average stops range from 10 to 15 stops per route.

Guaranteed Pay - $1550 weekly after training completion. Drivers must be available to work the full week with no "callouts" to qualify.

Vacation: After 6 months of employment you will receive one week of vacation. Employment years 1 through 5 you will receive two weeks of vacation, and after five years plus of employment you will receive 3 weeks of vacation.
