The primary responsibilities of a Site Superintendent are to provide on-site supervision, to coordinate roofing project needs between the GC/Owner/GC Vendors and scope foreman, and Subcontractors on a particular project.

Essential Job Functions

• Supervise and coordinate all on-site construction activities.
• Ensure compliance with project plans, specifications, and safety regulations.
• Schedule and manage subcontractors, labor, and materials to meet project timelines.
• Conduct daily site inspections and safety meetings.
• Maintain accurate project documentation including daily logs, progress reports, and incident reports.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and architects to resolve issues and ensure project alignment.
• Monitor project costs and assist in budget management.
• Ensure quality control and adherence to construction standards.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for site-related inquiries and updates.
• Enforce company policies and procedures on the job site.

• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations.
• Proven ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in construction management software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
