Registered Nurse (RN) - Hospice - $10,000 Sign on Bonus at Hannibal Regional Hospital – Kirksville, Missouri

Responsible for the nature and quality of all nursing care hospice patients receive in their home, or place of residence. Utilizing physician orders and professional skills, the Registered Nurse develops and implements a hospice plan of care that meets each patient’s specific needs and is compliance with federal and state regulations, as well as Hannibal Regional’s policy and procedures.

• Graduate of an approved School of Nursing
• Current license as a registered professional nurse in the State of Missouri
• Minimum of two years varied work experience as a professional nurse and preferably one of those years in an acute setting
• Demonstrates the ability to assess and respond to the needs of patients and families in varied settings
• Demonstrates the ability to direct the work of self and others, ability to cope with family emotional stress and tolerance of individual lifestyles
• Is flexible, yet organized, with ability to exercise sound judgment
• Travel is required; must provide own reliable transportation
• Clean driving record required
