Job Description
This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Senior Analytics Engineer, Product in France.
This role sits at the intersection of data, product, and user impact within a fast-scaling tech-for-good environment transforming clinical research accessibility worldwide. You will design and own the data foundations that power product decisions, self-service analytics, and user-facing insights used by internal teams, sponsors, and research sites. Acting as a key bridge between product squads and data infrastructure, you will translate complex operational needs into scalable, reliable data products. The role combines analytics engineering, product thinking, and hands-on data modeling in a highly collaborative and mission-driven setting. You will help shape how data is structured, exposed, and consumed across the organization. This is a high-impact position for someone who enjoys building end-to-end data solutions that directly influence product value and real-world outcomes.
- Own and evolve core data models and metric definitions, ensuring consistency, trust, and usability across the organization.
- Build and maintain scalable analytics engineering pipelines using modern data stack tools, enabling reliable data flow from platform to end users.
- Design and deliver self-service analytics capabilities, empowering non-technical teams to independently access and interpret data.
- Partner closely with product squads to translate ambiguous operational needs into structured, production-ready data assets.
- Develop and maintain user-facing dashboards and embedded analytics consumed by internal stakeholders, sponsors, and external partners.
- Contribute to the creation of a robust semantic layer that supports scalable reporting and AI-powered analytics experiences.
- Leverage automation and AI tools to streamline data workflows and increase team efficiency.
- 4+ years of experience as an Analytics Engineer or in a hybrid data engineering / analytics role with strong ownership of data products.
- Strong expertise in dbt and data modeling within a cloud data warehouse environment (BigQuery or similar).
- Proven experience delivering end-to-end data products from definition to production and measurable adoption.
- Product-oriented mindset, with the ability to start from user problems rather than purely technical requirements.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with product, engineering, and non-technical stakeholders.
- Comfort operating in ambiguity and translating loosely defined needs into structured, scalable data solutions.
- Experience working in fast-paced environments where iteration speed and business impact are key drivers.
- Nice to have: experience with AI-assisted tools, healthcare or regulated industries, and production-grade dashboards.
- Competitive salary ranging from €65,000 to €80,000 plus equity.
- Fully remote-first setup within France, with optional access to a Paris office.
- Flexible working hours supporting autonomy and work-life balance.
- Health insurance fully covered by the employer.
- Meal vouchers and contributions to wellness and sports activities.
- Top-of-the-line equipment provided for optimal productivity.
- Paid compensatory time (RTT).
- Budget for learning resources, books, and professional development.
