This role sits at the center of a fast-paced Corporate and M&A practice, ensuring seamless execution across high-volume, high-stakes transactional work. You will bring structure, clarity, and operational discipline to complex, multi-party matters, enabling senior legal leadership to operate with full visibility and confidence. The position combines legal operations, project management, and AI-driven workflow innovation to enhance efficiency and reduce friction across deal execution. You will coordinate across attorneys, clients, and external stakeholders while maintaining precise oversight of timelines, dependencies, and deliverables. Acting as the execution backbone of the practice, you will ensure that commitments are tracked, risks are anticipated, and outcomes are delivered reliably. This is a highly strategic and hands-on role in a modern legal environment that values automation, structure, and continuous improvement.
- Lead end-to-end matter management by maintaining clear visibility over timelines, dependencies, deliverables, and client commitments across all active transactions
- Coordinate across attorneys, clients, co-counsel, and external stakeholders to ensure smooth execution of complex, multi-party deals
- Support the senior partner with concise, decision-ready summaries, updates, and actionable insights
- Identify risks, misalignments, and potential delays early, and proactively resolve them before escalation is required
- Drive operational efficiency by redesigning workflows and integrating AI tools to enhance tracking, documentation, and coordination
- Oversee pipeline visibility and support follow-through on business development and transactional priorities
Requirements:
- Experience in legal operations, practice management, or transactional coordination within a law firm or professional services environment
- Strong familiarity with corporate and M&A workflows; legal training or J.D. is highly preferred
- Demonstrated experience using or building AI-driven workflows in a professional setting
- Strong systems thinking with the ability to introduce structure without unnecessary complexity
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills in high-pressure environments
- Full professional fluency in English
- Ability to operate independently in a fast-paced, remote, Eastern Time-aligned environment
