Position Overview
We require a full-time Sales Manager to support business growth across Basecamp and Everwild by building client relationships, generating new sales opportunities, and managing existing accounts. Working closely with the Senior Sales Manager, this role helps drive revenue through sales activities, contract management, and customer service, while also providing general support to the Revenue & Sales department to help achieve overall business goals.
Salary: $55,000 - $60,000
Location: Calgary or Canmore
Shifts: Full-time, Permanent
Personal vehicle required – occasional travel to hotels, events and tradeshows
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Strategies
- Implement effective sales strategies to maximize the generation of sales/revenue. This can be a collaboration with our marketing team.
- Quote and negotiate prices within established parameters. Upon booking, prepare sales contracts, coordinate, and follow up with all hotel operations to ensure delivery of promised service/product.
- Implement Property Sales System to track, solicit and follow up on accounts.
New Business Opportunities
- Coordinate and participate in site visits, FAMs, industry & trade functions and shows.
- Actively acquire new business and maintain existing accounts through our booking platforms, prospecting, planned sales calls, and solicitations.
- Develop and maintain relationships and contact with key clients.
- Solicit client’s post event satisfaction, regardless of where it was executed.
Revenue Support and Reporting:
- Support the revenue team by producing daily, weekly, and monthly revenue reports as needed.
- Other tasks as assigned.
Requirements
- Two year’s experience in a related hospitality role.
- Strong attention to detail is essential.
- Ability to collect, analyze and interpret revenue performance data.
- Open to growth in the role as the company expands.
- Driver’s license.
