About This Position
Kinsley Power Systems is seeking a Safety and Fleet Manager. The Safety and Fleet Manager is responsible for providing overall coordination, planning, development, administration, and auditing of all safety and fleet-related procedures throughout the organization. This role ensures compliance with applicable federal, state, local, and company standards while promoting a culture of safety across all branch locations, job sites, and company vehicle operations.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
• Complete safety coordination of all branch locations
• Create safety procedures/policies aimed at effectively controlling accident and health exposures
• Track and audit completion of training course compliance of all staff of required safety training
• Train and audit staff on compliance with federal, state, local and company safety standards
• Evaluate and provide updated safety procedures for company work procedures
• Investigate safety related incidents and provide recommendations to eliminate repeated occurrences
• Track, submit and report OSHA and Fleet statistics
• Conduct cross-functional safety meetings; hold matrix team accountable for completion of safety items
• Prepare analysis and reporting, as appropriate
• Vendor Compliance with Company Safety procedures and requirements
• DOT Compliance knowledge
• Ensure compliance with DOT, FMCSA, and applicable state motor vehicle regulations, including driver qualification files, MVR monitoring, and vehicle inspection documentation
• Oversee vehicle inspection programs, preventive maintenance schedules, and fleet compliance documentation to ensure vehicles remain safe and road-ready
• Other duties as assigned
Education and Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree required; Occupational Safety & Health or a related degree strongly preferred.2+ years' experience in safety within the construction, energy/power markets preferred
• Certified Safety Professional (CSP) preferred or Associate Safety Professional (ASP)
• Attention to detail, and aptitude for statistics Proficient in Microsoft Office products
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Self-motivated, results-oriented individual with a high degree of energy and competitiveness balanced with impeccable integrity, attention to detail and a personable demeanor.
• High sense of urgency
• Strong collaborative, negotiation and problem-solving skills
• Demonstrated proficiency with MS Office
• Valid driver's license with proof of insurability
• Ability to travel on a regular basis
