This is a highly specialized international training and field operations role focused on the planning and delivery of complex technical training programs in chemical security and elimination initiatives. The Regional Event Training Manager will lead the execution of training events, workshops, and exercises across multiple Southeast Asian countries, supporting critical government missions related to chemical threat reduction. This role combines technical subject matter expertise with strong operational and logistical coordination across multicultural and multi-stakeholder environments. The position involves close collaboration with government agencies, international partners, and field teams to ensure effective knowledge transfer and mission success. It requires strong leadership in dynamic, high-responsibility environments, where precision, safety, and coordination are essential. This is a mission-driven role with global impact, combining technical training, program execution, and international field engagement.

Accountabilities:
  • Lead the planning, development, and execution of international training events, workshops, exercises, and symposiums related to chemical security elimination.
  • Deliver or support instructor-led training sessions in chemical detection, hazardous materials management, and chemical incident response.
  • Coordinate training curricula, materials, and logistical requirements in collaboration with program and government stakeholders.
  • Manage on-the-ground event execution across multiple Southeast Asian locations, ensuring alignment with U.S. government objectives.
  • Liaise with host nation stakeholders, vendors, interpreters, and service providers to ensure smooth delivery of training events.
  • Prepare, calibrate, and support the use of specialized chemical detection and training equipment.
  • Contribute to after-action reports, documenting lessons learned and recommending improvements for future training cycles.
  • Collaborate with U.S.-based program leadership and cross-functional teams to ensure operational readiness and execution quality.
  • Ensure all training activities meet established safety, compliance, and performance standards.
  • Support continuous improvement of training programs and delivery methodologies in complex international environments.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering, chemistry, biochemistry, or a related technical field required.
  • 10+ years of professional experience, including at least 7+ years in international chemical security elimination or related training programs.
  • Prior military or government experience in chemical materials or chemical defense programs strongly preferred.
  • Strong background in chemical incident response, hazardous materials management, or chemical weapons destruction initiatives.
  • Experience designing and delivering technical training programs in international or field-based environments.
  • Ability to manage complex logistics and coordinate multi-country training operations.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to engage diverse international stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools and project planning systems.
  • Ability to lead teams, manage field operations, and work effectively in distributed environments.
  • Willingness to travel extensively across Southeast Asia and be based in Manila, Philippines.
