Position Summary

This role is responsible for all phases of meal preparation and planning. The job requires a clean and aesthetic environment of the kitchen and dining room. The job requires direct interaction with residents, staff and volunteers. Responsible for preparing Meals on Wheels and interacting with volunteers for delivery of the meals. Will observe proper sanitation safety procedures at Historic Homes of Runnemede. Ensure that dining room will be left clean and orderly after all three meals. Requires direct interaction with residents when serving meals and cleanup of the dining room.

Qualifications

High school diploma required, culinary arts training desired. Must be able to prepare a variety of foods in quantity. Must be familiar with cooking characteristics of various cuts of meat, names and contents of various types of dishes and proper portion control procedures
