Registered Nurse - Occupational Medicine in Rensselaer, New York at Saratoga Hospital

Our client is seeking a Certified Occupational Health Nurse to work Monday through Friday, 7 am to 4 pm at their location in Rensselaer, NY

JOB DUTIES to include, but not limited to:

• Medical Records Quality review for accuracy, completeness and compliance to regulations and company requirements
• Coordinate records corrections
• Analyze trends related to errors and discrepancies
• Data entry into the information management system (eg.: Medical Examination forms)
• Evaluation of workplace injuries within the scope of practice and consistent with clinical nursing guidelines. Direct referrals when warranted.
• Identify, evaluate, and implement accommodations and return to work options for workers with restricted duty.
• Injury case management
• Injury Prevention and Health Surveillance
• Participate in the accident investigation program to identify root cause analysis of injuries and illnesses.

Qualificatiions:

Preferred COHN or minimum 5 years-experience in Occupational Medicine. Must be able to pass a background check and be eligible to obtain a security clearance
