Job Description
Quality Electrical Systems (QES) is seeking a skilled and reliable Building Maintenance & Equipment Technician to support the upkeep and performance of our facility and equipment. This role is responsible for performing maintenance, repairs, and inspections on building systems and production equipment to ensure safe, efficient, and uninterrupted operations.

Key Responsibilities:
Preventive and Corrective Maintenance:
Perform routine inspections and scheduled
maintenance to minimize equipment downtime
and ensure optimal performance.
Facility Maintenance:
Maintain and repair building systems including
HVAC, electrical, plumbing, security systems,
and structural components (doors, roofing, etc.).
Equipment Support:
Inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain
machinery, tools, and equipment. Assist with
installation and setup of new equipment
as needed.
Work Order Management:
Respond promptly to maintenance requests
and document completed work, repairs,
and inspections accurately.
Inventory and Tools:
Monitor and maintain inventory of maintenance
supplies, parts, and tools.
Vendor Coordination:
Work with external contractors for specialized
repairs or maintenance when required.
Safety and Compliance:
Follow all company safety policies and ensure
work complies with OSHA and local regulations.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Proven experience in building maintenance,
equipment maintenance, or a similar role
• Strong working knowledge of HVAC, electrical,
plumbing, and mechanical systems
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair equipment
efficiently
• Basic computer skills (experience with CMMS
or maintenance tracking systems is a plus)
• Strong attention to detail and organizational
skills
• Ability to work independently and manage
multiple tasks
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent required
• Technical or vocational training preferred
Performance Expectations:
Maintain high equipment uptime and reliability
• Complete preventive maintenance tasks on schedule
• Respond quickly and effectively to maintenance requests
• Support a safe and compliant work environment
