Job Description

Description:

We are seeking a talented employee experience member who will serve as the heartbeat, gatekeeper, and safety champion of our Lake Katrine location. This is a highly multifaceted role for a tech-savvy professional who thrives on variety. You will be our first line of defense for front-desk security and breakroom food safety (managing inventory, breakroom cleanliness, and weekly family meals), while simultaneously supporting HR initiatives and company events. If you love hospitality but want the structure of corporate operations, this is the role for you. This is a highly visible position that requires strong organization, attention to detail, and a service-oriented mindset, with a direct impact on employee experience, safety, and overall workplace effectiveness.

Hours: Monday - Friday, typically 11:00AM - 7:30PM.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily breakroom operations, communal area cleanliness (GMP compliant), and employee food programs, including the end-to-end execution of the Weekly Family Meal and special events
  • Manage supply inventory and establish PAR levels to minimize waste, while partnering with maintenance, sanitation, and operations teams to continuously improve the employee experience
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for employees, guests, and vendors, managing front door operations and entry protocols to maintain a professional, secure, and welcoming environment
  • Support facility operations by managing meeting room schedules and setups, tracking supplies, organizing workplace spaces, and escalating facilities issues as needed
  • Provide comprehensive administrative support to the HR team by managing data entry, document preparation, and reporting while assisting with audits, compliance tracking, and payroll distribution
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements:

Physical Requirements & Working Conditions

  • Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods while executing tasks with precision and speed
  • Sufficient finger and hand dexterity to operate office machinery, handle kitchen equipment, and perform high-volume data entry
  • Ability to frequently lift, pull, push, and carry awkward or shifting weights up to 50 pounds (e.g., stocking bulk supplies, moving meal service equipment)
  • Must be able to read digital screens, proofread physical documents, and communicate clearly via telephone and in person
  • Ability to wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and adhere to all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and safety protocols
  • Ability to work in kitchen, breakroom, and production-adjacent environments
  • Ability to safely use cleaning supplies and operate basic office and kitchen equipment
  • This is a fast-paced, high-energy environment. Must be comfortable with routinely shifting priorities and balancing time-sensitive administrative tasks with immediate hospitality needs
  • While primarily based in the office and breakroom, the role requires frequent presence on the production floor. This includes exposure to the sights, sounds, and aromas of a 24/7 commercial bakery
  • Work is performed within a diverse and inclusive team setting. The role requires an "entrepreneurial spirit" with the ability to work effectively under minimal supervision
  • As our bakery operates 365 days a year, this position requires a commitment to working a consistent schedule, including holidays and weekends, to support our year-round operations
  • Constant use of computer-based applications (Google Workspace, YoDeck, internal databases) and virtual meeting platforms

Required:

  • Bi-lingual (Spanish/English) REQUIRED
  • 1–3 years of experience in administrative support, HR, hospitality, workplace operations, or a related field
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • High attention to detail, particularly related to cleanliness, food safety, and compliance standards
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, hands-on environment
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a service-oriented mindset
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office or Google Workspace (email, calendars, documents, spreadsheets)
  • Willingness and ability to learn and follow GMP, sanitation, and safety standards
  • Experience in food manufacturing, hospitality, or a GMP-regulated environment
  • Prior experience supporting HR or People Operations
  • Experience coordinating events, employee programs, or workplace initiatives
  • Familiarity with inventory management or supply ordering systems

Perks and Benefits:

  • Competitive pay
  • Health Insurance
  • Dental Insurance
  • Company Paid Vision Insurance
  • Company Paid Life Insurance
  • Supplemental benefit options
  • 401(k) with company match
  • Company-Wide Bonus Plan
  • Employee Stock Ownership Program
  • Employee Discounts
  • Company Events
  • Paid Time Off
  • Professional Development Programs
  • Referral Program
  • Anniversary recognition program
  • Opportunities for Growth
  • Flexible schedules
