About This Position

This position is eligible for a sign-on bonus.

The Emergency Department is located on the main floor at Parkview Regional Medical Center. The unit has 48 beds, and they can flex up to 60 beds using double rooms. The ER at PRMC treats patients of all different ages with medical, surgical, and mental health needs. The level of acuity can vary greatly from a basic medical issue to a level 1 trauma.

    • Qualifications:

  • Requires a Diploma in nursing or an ASN/BSN
  • Valid Indiana Registered Nurse license required. CPR certification.
  • Additional certifications may be required for specified areas.
  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds, assist with 100 pounds. (Lifting requirements may be heavier for specified departments.) Must have good verbal and written communication skills.
