Requirements
- High school education or equivalent experience
- 1 year of transport driving experience (preferred)
- Valid CDL Class A with Tanker and Hazmat endorsements
- 21 years of age according to DOT requirements
- Able to pass a DOT physical, drug/alcohol test, and MVR check.
- Physically able to drive a commercial vehicle and sit for extended periods of time
- Able to lift, pull, and/or push 75 pounds
- Willing and able to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends as scheduled
Responsibilities
- Perform a pre and post-trip vehicle inspections according to procedure
- Complete and log all required driving data and paperwork; including pre-trip and post trip inspection forms daily
- Verify tank(s) and product type before unloading the product from the trailer
- Make the required gravity drop or pump deliveries at the customers' establishments in a safe and professional manner
- Keep a clean vehicle at all times and ensure that equipment is properly stored and serviced
- Be friendly and courteous to all customers while operating the vehicle and follow the rules of the road
- Complete all DOT, safety, and other training as required
- Perform all duties in a safe manner ensuring incident-free operations
- All other duties as assigned
