About This Position

Position Title: Director of Patient Dining Services

Location: Buffalo General Medical Center

Salary: 85K FT/Perm

We are seeking a polished communicator with a mentoring leadership style to join our AMAZING Team at Buffalo General. The Director of Patient Dining Services is a key role ensuring that the dining experience of our patients is second to none.

MUST have experience implementing unrelenting customer satisfaction driven programs and policies. Must be tech savvy and able use and teach computerized ordering systems, online ordering and inventory systems as well as HR office functions.

This is a Food Service Management role. Applicants must have management experience, with healthcare a strong preference. Senior Living Food Service Directors or candidates with similar backgrounds are encouraged to apply.


Metz Culinary Management is growing and we have openings for a Rock Star Patient Food Services Manager who shares our passion for Food and Service. The PSM plans, coordinates and manages all in-room Patient Dining. The primary focus of our Patient Services Manager is the overall leadership of the Server Team and oversight of the Patient Experience, ensuring amazing food, unexpected service and the ability to engage with our patients to utilize the ordering system and/or assist in the menu selections and follow up to ensure satisfaction.

The Patient Services Manager primarily functions as a member of the multidisciplinary health care team to implement nutrition care plans. A successful candidate will have a strong knowledge of the importance of Customer Relations, Dining Experience, and Employee Management. While experience working in the Patient Food Services setting would be ideal, some of our most successful Patient Services Managers have a background in Restaurant General Manger roles. HOSPITALITY minded leadership is a MUST.

Requirements
