The Pre-Owned Sales Manager directs the sales activities of the Pre-Owned Sales Department by being well-informed and knowledgeable on the used vehicle inventory, leading department personnel and guaranteeing guest satisfaction.

Essential Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):
- Establish monthly and annual sales objectives for units, gross profit and expenses.
- Analyze and control expenditures to conform to budgetary requirements.
- Review market analysis and sales reports.
- Manage efficiently the vehicle inventory.
- Enforce the Johnson Automotive sales process/buying experience.
- Administer and monitor factory-sponsored programs.
- Merchandises and promotes used vehicle inventory.
- Hire, train, motivate, counsel and monitor the performance of the Pre-Owned Department Sales Associates.
- Facilitate staffing and training as required by manufacturer and/or dealership.
- Monitor Sales team productivity and performance.
- Assist guests as needed by the sales staff.
- Ensures internal and external guests receive a high quality of service with professionalism and respect.
- Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction, demonstrated by meeting manufacturer and dealership specified standards.
- Handle guest concerns promptly according to dealership guidelines and escalate concerns when necessary.
- Other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications and Skills:
- Experience:
- Auto Sales Management: Minimum of 5 years experience (Required)
- Must be organized and extremely detail oriented.
- Capability to communicate orally and in writing with various levels of internal and external customers
- Must be able to multi-task in a fast-paced, high pressure environment.
- Possess negotiation expertise and demonstrate ability to close sales.
- Must be self-motivated and able to achieve goals with limited direct supervision.
- Have the ability to work in a team environment with various types of personalities.
- Exhibit a clean and professional appearance.
