About the Role:

As a Developer specializing in Automation and Integration, you will play a critical role in designing, developing, and implementing automated solutions that streamline business processes and enhance system interoperability. Your work will focus on creating robust integration frameworks that connect disparate applications and services, ensuring seamless data flow and operational efficiency across the organization. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including IT, operations, and business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into scalable automation workflows. This role demands a proactive approach to identifying opportunities for automation and continuous improvement, leveraging modern tools and technologies. Ultimately, your contributions will drive increased productivity, reduce manual effort, and support the company’s digital transformation initiatives across the United States operations.

Major Tasks, Responsibilities, and Key Accountabilities

PowerOn Development

  • Design, develop, and maintain PowerOn programs to enhance Symitar functionality
  • Serve in a secondary support role for Symitar system administration.
  • Modern Automation

  • Develop and maintain Python automation programs, SQL Server stored procedures, and OpCon automation schedules.
  • Consume REST APIs from external vendors.
  • Process Improvement

  • Perform business analysis to identify opportunities for process improvement and implement technology solutions.
  • Collaborate within the Transformation team and through cross-functional teams.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration

  • Partner with stakeholders to refine requirements and improve solution usability.
  • Maintain clear documentation for development processes and system enhancements.
  • General Duties

  • Follows Processes and procedures established to ensure compliance with the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) Anti-Money Laundering (AML), and Combating the Financing of Terrorism (CFT). Complete required, annual BSA/AML/CFT training to ensure you understand your responsibilities that apply to BSA/AML/CFT, including:Prohibited Account Types
  • SARs (Suspicious Activity Report)OFAC (Office of Foreign Assets Control)Monetary InstrumentsRecord Retention
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Minimum Qualifications

  • Proven experience in PowerOn programming and Symitar system administration.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team; self-starter with a strong team ethic.
  • Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with SQL (T-SQL), especially with SQL Server, for data extraction and reporting.
  • Familiarity with modern scripting languages, especially Python, for automation and integration.
  • Understanding of system automation concepts or job scheduling tools (like OpCon).
  • Familiarity with consuming APIs

Preferred skills such as cloud platform experience and containerization will be leveraged to build scalable and flexible integration architectures. Additionally, your understanding of DevOps practices will support continuous integration and deployment, ensuring that automation solutions are delivered rapidly and maintained effectively.
