About This Position
Lead GSR
In addition to performing the GSR duties and responsibilities, the lead GSR will:
- be responsible for training all new GSRs
- assign floors to GSRs daily
- assist other GSRs with diet questions
- monitor and evaluate work flow of GSR’s daily
- ensure that all patient meals requests are taken in a timely manner
- communicate any pertinent patient information to GSRs
- ensure that all specialty menus are communicated and distributed to patients
- ensure that all consumption boards are completed daily
REQUIREMENTS: High school graduate; minimum of five years of GSR experience; ability to read, write, and speak English; must be technology savvy; prior healthcare food service experience is desirable
