Basic Function

Airvac is the global leader in the Vacuum Technology System industry. The Key Accounts Manager is responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with existing customers and strategic partners to support the long-term growth of Airvac technology.

This role focuses on understanding customer needs, supporting their projects, and identifying opportunities where Airvac solutions can provide value. The Key Accounts Manager works closely with engineering firms, developers, contractors, and municipalities to strengthen partnerships, support ongoing projects, and encourage continued adoption of Airvac technology.

Success in this role requires strong communication, responsiveness, and a collaborative approach. The Key Accounts Manager serves as a trusted resource for customers while working closely with internal teams to ensure a positive customer experience. Travel is expected approximately 60% of the time.

Duties & Responsibilities

· Manage and support a portfolio of existing customer accounts within the assigned region, serving as the primary relationship owner for those customers.

· Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with municipalities, engineers, contractors, and industry partners associated with assigned accounts.

· Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, ensuring questions, needs, and concerns are addressed in a timely and professional manner.

· Provide ongoing support to existing customers, helping them successfully operate, maintain, and expand their use of Airvac technology.

· Identify opportunities within existing accounts for additional projects, upgrades, or system expansions.

· Work closely with customers to understand upcoming projects, infrastructure needs, and long-term planning.

· Respond to technical and project-related inquiries from customers and coordinate with internal engineering and technical teams when needed.

· Support customers through the project lifecycle, ensuring a smooth transition from customer engagement to engineering, design, and implementation.

· Collaborate with Manufacturer’s Representatives to support and strengthen relationships within assigned accounts.

· Maintain regular communication with municipal officials, consulting engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders involved in customer projects.

· Represent Airvac at customer meetings, site visits, and industry events as needed to support existing relationships.

· Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and opportunities within the company CRM system.

· Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of the ISO 9001:2015 quality management system and quality objectives.

· Perform additional duties as assigned by Supervisor/Manager.

Required Skills.

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field preferred. Equivalent industry experience will also be considered.

• Experience in wastewater systems, municipal infrastructure, engineering consulting, or a closely related technical field preferred.

• 3+ years of experience in account management, project support, business development, or customer-facing roles within a technical or infrastructure-related industry.

• Strong relationship-building skills with the ability to work closely with engineers, municipalities, contractors, and industry partners.

• Comfortable discussing technical concepts and working alongside engineering teams to support customer needs and project development.

• Hands-on, proactive approach with the ability to identify opportunities, solve problems, and support customers throughout

project development.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present information clearly and professionally.

• Strong time management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain consistent communication with customers.

• Ability to work effectively both independently and within a collaborative team environment.

• Proficiency with Windows and Microsoft Office applications.

• Experience using a CRM system (e.g., Salesforce) preferred.

• Willingness and ability to travel approximately 60%.
