The City of Northampton Parks and Recreation Department is seeking dynamic individuals looking to make a difference in the lives of children this summer. Be a part of an extraordinary team of staff who are committed to caring and fostering relationships, creating an exciting, safe, wholesome summer camp experience for local kids this summer!

Traditional full day camp fun at Kidzone.

Safety Village is a half-day camp with introductory safety and awareness themed fun.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

Must be 16 years of age or older. Youth-based experience preferred.

Qualified Northampton residents will be given first consideration.

WORK SCHEDULES:

Safety Village (Ages 4-6)

25 hours a week -- Monday through Friday from 8:15 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.

Camp Kid Zone (Grades 1-4)

45 hours per week – Monday through Friday from 8:15 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.

DATES OF WORK:

The programs start in June until August 7, 2026, plus 2 mandatory pre-season training days.

Start and end dates are discussed during interviews.

FRINGE BENEFITS:

There are no fringe benefits and no holiday pay for July 4 for these temporary seasonal positions.
