In this role, you will play a critical part in shaping pricing strategies and financial outcomes within a complex healthcare environment. You will leverage large datasets and advanced analytics to support payer negotiations, contract modeling, and revenue optimization initiatives. Working cross-functionally with operations, finance, and business intelligence teams, you will ensure data accuracy and actionable insights across the organization. You will contribute directly to financial planning and performance by interpreting contract terms and reimbursement structures. - Develop and deliver financial models and analyses to support payer contract negotiations and pricing strategies
- Analyze large, complex datasets using tools such as Excel, SQL, and data visualization platforms
- Interpret managed care contracts and maintain accurate contract data within internal systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data consistency and support enterprise-wide analytics initiatives
- Design, maintain, and enhance dashboards, reports, and data visualization tools for business insights
- Conduct reimbursement and fee schedule analyses, including evaluation of Medicare and payer updates
- Support revenue cycle and compliance efforts through detailed analysis and audit validation
- Identify discrepancies, troubleshoot pricing issues, and recommend corrective actions
- Manage ad hoc analytical projects and provide actionable insights to support decision-making
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Healthcare, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in payer rate modeling, contract analysis, or healthcare analytics
- Strong expertise in financial modeling, data analysis, and statistical techniques
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and experience with SQL, Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools
- Solid understanding of healthcare reimbursement methodologies, revenue cycle, and payer systems
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage complex datasets independently
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills across multiple departments
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Familiarity with Medicare/Medicaid regulations and healthcare industry terminology is highly preferred
