About This Position
Position OverviewWe are actively recruiting for a Payments Manager to oversee the Payments Department for the organization. In this role, you will be responsible for the coaching and development of the Payment Specialists. This role requires an understanding of card portfolio management and controls, regulatory requirements of cards, lending, ACH, and drafts. This role also requires awareness of digital, core, and payment systems configuration, expense management, budgeting/forecasting, and vendor management.What You’ll BringBachelor’s degree in business, finance, or a related field preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience in payment operations, banking, or financial services.Must possess excellent communication skills, strong relationship development skills, and an ability to navigate through multiple areas of an organization.Three or more years of payments product experience preferred.Payment Accreditations preferred or willingness to obtain (AAP, AFPP, NCP, APRP).Ability to collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.Ability to determine and correct more complex operating problems.Proficiency in math.Ability to deliver, understand, and apply the English language to problem-solving situations.Ability to write and respond to instructions and routine correspondence.Ability to organize information and communicate effectively both orally and in writing.Ability to interact with all levels within the organization, in a team-based environment, and with the public.A significant level of trust and diplomacy is required, in addition to normal courtesy and tact.Work involves extensive personal contact with others and/or is usually of a personal or sensitive nature.
