As a Solutions Engineer on the Professional Services team at ATB Technologies, you will deliver IT solutions for clients ranging from small businesses to enterprise organizations. You’ll design and implement modern infrastructure with a strong emphasis on Microsoft technologies and Azure, partnering closely with clients to translate requirements into reliable, scalable implementations. This role is ideal for an engineer with a strong technical foundation and a hands-on mindset—someone who enjoys digging in, learning quickly, and continuously leveling up.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver solutions end-to-end: Implement infrastructure projects across Microsoft and Azure, including planning, build, configuration, testing, deployment, and cutover support.
• Azure-focused implementation: Contribute to and lead Azure project work such as core resource deployment, connectivity, identity integration, and operational readiness (monitoring, access, documentation).
• Microsoft platform delivery: Deploy and improve Microsoft environments (e.g., Windows Server and related services; Microsoft 365 components as applicable), aligning with client requirements and best practices.
• Network integration & troubleshooting: Implement and troubleshoot network connectivity and dependencies (LAN/WAN concepts, routing/switching fundamentals, VPNs/firewalls as applicable) to ensure reliable end-to-end solutions.
• Client discovery & technical guidance: Gather requirements, validate assumptions, and recommend practical approaches that balance security, performance, and cost.
• Documentation & handoff excellence: Produce clear deliverables such as implementation plans, diagrams, configurations/as-builts, and support runbooks to ensure smooth transitions and long-term maintainability.
• Continuous improvement: Stay current on Microsoft and Azure capabilities; pursue certifications and share learnings internally to strengthen delivery standards.

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in a similar delivery/implementation role (Professional Services, MSP, consulting, or internal infrastructure project delivery).
• Azure (real project experience deploying and supporting workloads/services).
• Microsoft technologies (core infrastructure and/or Microsoft 365 ecosystem as relevant).
• Networking fundamentals (connectivity, troubleshooting, common infrastructure patterns).
• Demonstrated ability to execute projects from start to finish (scope understanding, implementation, validation, and documentation).
• Strong communication skills and comfort working directly with clients.
• Ability to maintain accurate technical documentation and organize work across multiple client engagements.
• Valid driver’s license and vehicle; ability to travel locally to client sites 10–20%, with the potential for occasional travel to out-of-state clients and sites.

Preferred Qualifications

• Microsoft certifications (Azure and/or Microsoft 365), such as AZ-104 or similar.
• Networking certifications such as CCNA/CCNP.
• Experience with identity and access management concepts (e.g., Entra ID/Azure AD, RBAC, conditional access concepts).
• Experience with SQL in the context of infrastructure/app support (basic administration and troubleshooting).
• Experience with virtual desktop solutions.
