A newly opened restaurant in North Tonawanda is seeking a skilled, dependable Line Cook to join a growing kitchen team. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in quality, works well under pressure, and enjoys a fast-paced, team-focused environment. The menu features American-style cuising including gourmet bugers, in-house smoked barbecue, and brick oven pizzas.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook food items according to standardized recipes and specifications.
• Follow proper food handling and safety procedures to maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment.
• Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies and ingredients.
• Ensure that all food items are prepared and served in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
• Monitor food quality and presentation to meet our high standards.
• Assist in the development and improvement of menu items.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, including equipment, utensils, and storage areas including closing duties as assigned by the Kitchen Manager
• Adhere to portion control guidelines to minimize waste and ensure cost efficiency.
• Follow all sanitation and hygiene regulations to maintain food safety standards.

• Knowledge of cooking techniques, food preparation, and kitchen equipment.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in food preparation and presentation.

• Ability to work well in a team and collaborate with other kitchen staff members.

• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.

• Must be at least 18 years old.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand for long periods of time.

• Continuously bend, reach, twist and use your hands and arms.

• Able to lift 40 pounds at a time.
