The ideal candidate will be eager to learn the financial services ropes needed for effective wealth management to help clients achieve their monetary goals. Compensation:$85,000 - $150,000
Responsibilities:- Consider clients’ life stage, professional circumstances, and changing financial needs when developing tailored financial plans to suit their needs
- Provide strategic recommendations for products, plans, investments, and other methods to help clients achieve financial goals
- Embrace the role of a structured yet coachable team player open to continued education and training from other team members
- Work directly with clients to compile financial profiles that allow you to provide sound financial advice based on each person’s individual financial status, income, financial goals, and other factors contributing to wealth management
- Look for, identify, and secure new clients to serve as a trusted advisor for crucial financial decisions
- Network with and qualify with prospective clients and explain the features and merits of insurance, investments, and other planning needs.
- Develop investment portfolios, disability, life insurance, and long-term life strategies, high-level professional sales presentations, and client acquisitions.
- Anticipates future needs of all clients and works with senior-level advisors to call on established clients to renew and upgrade accounts.
- Develops long-term relationships with clients and underwriters.
- Assist clients with concerns and service issues as needed.
- Reach agreed-upon sales targets monthly.
- Basic knowledge of computer programs including Microsoft Office, financial planning software, Google Suite, CRM systems, and related programs is needed
- A Bachelor’s degree in finance, business administration, or alternate related analytical field is required
- Though not required, a valid FINRA Series 7 & 63/66 license is considered a plus
- Superior communication, relationship building, and math skills to establish a strong foundation of customer service for all clients
- Basic understanding of the role of a financial advisor or financial consultant, as well interest in the financial industry and financial products is necessary
- Interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.

- New York Life will pay and cover all expenses for training and the exam.
- Sales: 1 year (preferred).
