Title: Advanced Nurse Practitioner (ANP) – Sleep Medicine
Location: Austin, Texas (Telemedicine and In-Person)
Job Type: Full-Time
Frontier Sleep is a leading healthcare provider specializing in diagnosing and treating sleep disorders. Our mission is to enhance patient well-being through advanced treatments and compassionate care. As we continue to expand, we are seeking a dedicated Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to join our team and contribute to our pioneering work in sleep medicine.
Job Responsibilities:- Collaborate with attending physicians to provide clinical direction and leadership.
- Conduct comprehensive sleep consultations and follow-up visits via telemedicine and in person.
- Recommend and authorize prescriptions for appropriate sleep therapy. Must be open to all treatment options.
- Manage therapy compliance and follow-up care to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Work closely with physicians to improve clinical performance, patient satisfaction, and service quality.
- Participate in quality assurance activities, including chart and peer reviews.
- Engage in performance improvement initiatives to enhance patient care.
- Master of Science in Nursing or completion of a Physician Assistant program.
- Registered and certified as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in the State of Texas (willingness to obtain licenses in other states as needed).
- Minimum of one year of experience as a Registered Nurse.
- Current CPR certification.
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with patients and healthcare teams.
- Commitment to professional development through teaching, research, or specialty certifications.
- Previous experience in sleep medicine or a strong interest in specializing in this field.
- Ability to assess and treat patients of all ages, understanding lifespan development and sleep-related health concerns.
