Rental Agent at Budget Car Rental – Independence, Missouri

We are seeking a professional Rental Agent to represent our company in the Independence and KCMO area. In the car rental industry, top-performing Rental Agents serve as the primary face of the business — building rapport with customers while expertly finalizing rental reservations and delivering exceptional customer service.

This role is ideal for customer-focused individuals who also have strong upselling skills and want to maximize their income through commissions. Successful agents routinely identify customer needs and recommend vehicle upgrades, protection products, and additional services — directly increasing both customer satisfaction and personal earnings.

Key responsibilities include:

• Finalizing customer rental reservations with outstanding service
• Managing inventory
• Handling callbacks
• Washing and preparing vehicles
• Auditing paperwork for accuracy

Store hours are Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, with some half-days on weekends. Weekend availability is a must.
