About This Position
Main Purpose:
The main purpose of the Operations Coordinator within our Cleaning and Environmental Services (CES) Division is to support daily production and operational activities by coordinating workforce scheduling, assisting with hiring and training and ensuring efficient workflow across assigned teams. This position monitors productivity, supports work order and invoicing processes and collaborates with key departments—including HR, finance, logistics and shipping / receiving—to maintain smooth and effective operations.
Essential Functions:
- Assist with hiring and training new employees
- Organize and oversee the schedules and work of assigned staff
- Conduct performance and Short Service Employee (SSE) evaluations that are timely and constructive
- Assist with Work Orders, issuance of Purchase Orders (POs) and supporting documents for invoicing
- Assist with daily activities related to production and operations
- Measure productivity by analyzing performance data, financial data and activity reports
- Coordinate with other support departments such as human resources, finance and logistics to ensure successful production operations
- Assist with shipping and receiving functions
- Take calls on a rotation to assist with operational assignments after hours / weekends
- Operate company vehicles as authorized / assigned
- Perform other duties assigned by supervisor

Physical Requirements:
- Standing, sitting, walking, stooping, kneeling, climbing, talking, hearing and seeing

- Must be able to lift and / or move 25 pounds and occasionally 50-75 pounds
Job Requirements:
- 2+ years experience in the Oil and Gas Industry or related field
- Excellent managerial and supervisory skills
- Extensive knowledge of operations and production management
- Ability to interpret financial data as needed to set production goals
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software
- Ability to work in Shop environment
- Must reside local to Houma, LA
- Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screen and physical
- Must be able to pass a background check
Desirable Experience, Education and Training:
- Ability to Multitask
- High School Diploma or equivalent

Environmental Conditions:
20-30% of the work activities are performed outdoors. Individuals will be required to work in changes of temperature, hot, cold, humid, wet, and dry conditions, dust, mud, etc. They may also be exposed to fumes (Paint, paint thinners, diesel, /or gas, etc.)
