Care Assistant / Support Worker - London

Days, long days, nights, weekends (rota dependent)

13.85 15.00 per hour (varies by assignment and experience)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Personal care and support with daily living tasks.
  • Hydration support and nutrition/meal preparation.
  • Medication support (as trained and delegated).
  • Social inclusion and community participation (e.g., outings, events, restaurants).
  • Accurate recordkeeping, handovers, and incident reporting.
  • Follow infection prevention/control and safeguarding procedures; escalate concerns promptly.

Requirements:

  • A kind, compassionate and calm approach.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships.
  • Full UK driving licence (desirable) and willingness to travel between visits.
  • Ability to support active days in the community; some packages involve extended walking.
  • Right to work in the UK; willingness to complete mandatory training.
