Wellness Center Staff at The Young Men's Christian Association of Stevens – Stevens Point, Wisconsin

Pay: $10.17/Hour

Position Type: part-time

Work Schedule: Flexible, with various hours available

This position is responsible for providing guidance, leadership, and service in the Wellness Center and throughout the YMCA facility. Additional responsibilities include providing building manager and emergency response for the YMCA during assigned hours.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must be able to perform physical functions necessary to program instruction, including but not limited to squatting, bending, kneeling, spotting program participants and demonstrating use of Wellness Center equipment.
• Passion for wellness, an understanding of individual challenges with achieving wellness goals, and strong relationship-building skills.
• Ability to effectively present information and respond to inquiries at an individual or small group level.
• Possess initiative, motivational and problem-solving skills, and the ability to maintain confidentiality.

CERTIFICATIONS:

CPR/AED/First Aid certification within 60 days of hire.
