Job Overview:

Performs psychological evaluations for the comprehensive Health Evaluation of children (CHEC) program. Provides supervision to mental health professionals in the RDTC, FLEC and CHEC Programs; oversees the functioning of the FLEC Program.

Qualification

  • Ph.D. in Clinical Child Psychology – NJ State Psychology License
  • Certification in TF-CBT a plus

Scheduling Requirements (non-exempt positions):

  • Full-Time
  • Day
  • 35 HR Work Week
  • Hybrid work schedule available

Essential Functions:

Psychosocial assessment

Conducts forensic psychosocial evaluations of children and adolescents referred for child maltreatment

Conducts evaluations of child abuse victims, as needed

Provides well-integrated written reports in a timely manner Crisis Intervention

Provides crisis intervention and emergency services to child victims and families Training in child maltreatment

Provides training in child abuse and neglect to hospitals, community agencies, and professionals in the field of child maltreatment Clinical Coverage/Supervision

Able to run a clinical program, grant-funded, or fee-for-service model

Able to oversee a clinical program

Provides clinical supervision to mental health clinicians, psychologists on assessment and treatment, as needed • Provides supervision to psychology externs on all assignments

Provides clinical coverage, across programs, as needed

Conducts and supervises clinical research, depending on knowledge of research and skills Administrative Responsibilities

Participates as a member of the Metro RDTC Management Team

Assigns work to supervisees and monitors timely execution of tasks

Monitors/approves time off and activities (conferences) of supervisees

Provides reports pertaining to supervisees/programs

Reports to: Metro RDTC Clinical Director
