Driver at Contractors Choice Inc – Columbus, Ohio

Contractors Choice, driver will provide unparalleled service as they help Contractors Choice serve its customers. Driver handles all deliveries made to customers.
Duties include

• Obey traffic laws and follow established traffic and transportation procedures.
• Inspect and maintain vehicle supplies and equipment, such as gas, oil, water, tires, lights, or brakes, to ensure that vehicles are in proper working condition.
• Report any mechanical problems encountered with vehicles.
• Load and unload trucks, vans, or automobiles.
• Verify the contents of inventory loads against customer contracts.
• Checking serial numbers being delivered on contracts
• Noting any paperwork changes of items being refused or added
• Making sure pick up and drop offs are done in a professional manner
• Returning all paperwork by end of day
Job Requirements
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 1 year of experience
• Ability to operate a forklift and other warehouse equipment
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to lift heavy objects and work in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Flexibility to work overtime and weekends as needed
• Commitment to safety in the workplace
• Pass DOT physical
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
