Lead Rest Area Attendant at ARC of the Treasure Coast – Palm City, Florida

Overview:

ARC of the Treasure Coast is seeking a dependable Lead Rest Area Attendant to oversee daily operations at an I-95 rest area. This role supervises attendants, ensures a clean and safe environment, and supports individuals with disabilities in a team-based setting.

• Supervise, train, and support Attendants
• Assign and monitor work; ensure quality and safety standards
• Conduct routine inspections and maintain site cleanliness
• Ensure adequate supplies and proper equipment use
• Perform custodial duties (restrooms, floors, trash, general cleaning)
• Maintain grounds appearance and complete required reports
• Enforce safety protocols and proper PPE use

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 2+ years custodial/janitorial experience preferred
• Leadership or training experience a plus
• Knowledge of OSHA, infection control, and safety standards
• Strong communication and organizational skills

• Valid driver’s license, clean driving record
• Ability to pass a Level II background screening

• Standing/walking for extended periods
• Lift up to 50 lbs.
• Bending, kneeling, reaching, and use of custodial equipment
