What does a day in the life of a dental assistant at ADC look like?

We start off each day with a team meeting. After our meeting, depending on your column of work, you will go prep trays for the procedures on the schedule. Once your first patient arrives, you will welcome them with a warm demeanor and delve into reviewing medical history, taking x-rays, and ensuring all consents are in order. Collaboration is key as you coordinate with the doctor for patient numbing. From there you will transition into assisting the dentist with procedures and taking charge of your designated responsibilities. Post-procedure, you will log detailed notes into each patients profile for records. Once this is done, you will walk out the patient and let the front desk know that they are ready to check out. Once the patient is with the front desk, you move on to the next patient, extending the same level of care to each patient until the day is done.
