About This Position

Location/Shift:
Tarentum: Mon-Fri, 7:30am - 4:00pm
(or)
Homestead: Part-Time (24 daytime hours per week M-F) hours open to discussion

Summary: The Housekeeper is responsible for providing home chore services (including household duties and steam cleaning) to assigned participants at their home.
THIS POSITION REQUIRES TRAVELING FROM HOUSE TO HOUSE IN THE COMMUNITY.

Required Education: High School Diploma or GED.

Required Experience: One or more years of cleaning/housekeeping experience.

Required Skills:
  • Ability to understand and carry out non-technical verbal and written directions, record messages, and keep records.
  • Ability to get along well with others and gain the cooperation of participants.
  • Physical and emotional ability to carry out assigned tasks.
  • Empathetic and compassionate attitude toward the elderly.
Required Licensure: Valid PA driver’s license and reliable vehicle.
