This position includes a wide range of responsibilities including:
- diagnosing and treating a variety of speech, language, cognitive communication, feeding, and swallowing disorders
- objectively evaluating swallowing with MBSS or FEES and recommending appropriate diet modifications, compensatory strategies, and rehabilitation plans
- training family members or caregivers, as well as other professionals
- collaborating with other members of the care team
To become a member of our caring and effective team at Auburn Community Hospital, you must:
- have your master’s degree in Speech Pathology
- clinical certification in Speech Pathology (or its equivalent)
- NYS licensure
- completion of clinical fellowship, and
- BLS-CPR certification required by time of appointment
Salary: $40 - $46 hourly
